Gurbani Camp 2026 – Instructions for Parents
Camp Dates: Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026
Camp Time: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
We welcome your children to Gurbani Camp 2026. In order to create a safe, orderly and spiritually beneficial environment for all children, we request that you follow the instructions below.
What to bring?
Each child should bring the following items:
• A blank notebook
• 2–3 pencils
• Water bottle Check
-in Procedure:
Parents and children should enter through the main door of the Gurdwara Sahib.
After entering:
• Keep the prescribed pair of shoes at home
• Wash hands
• Cover head
• Then proceed directly to the Langar Hall
There will be a registration and information desk in the Langar Hall. There, the attendants will direct each child to their group and class.
for Children:
• Preferred: White Kurta Pyjama
• Alternative: White T-shirt or White Shirt with proper pants
Head covering is mandatory:
• Saffron Turban
• Saffron Patka
• Saffron Chunni
• Or any other appropriate head covering
Please note: Shorts, cap, hat are not allowed.
Parent and Visitor Policy
• Parents, guardians and siblings are not allowed to stay in the classrooms or langar hall during the camp.
• Only parents/guardians whose children have food allergies may stay to care for their child if necessary.
Food Allergies and Special Diets
• If a child has any allergies, it is the responsibility of the parent to inform the school in advance.
• Allergies or special diet arrangements will be the responsibility of the parents.
Medications
If a child requires medication, the arrangements and responsibility will be the parents'.
Drop-off and Pick-up Time
• Drop-off Time: 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM
• Camp Ends: 3:30 PM
• Pick-up Time: 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Parents are requested to drop off or arrange for their children by 4:00 PM. After 4:00 PM, the responsibility of the children will be the responsibility of the parents.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation. We hope that this camp will be a beautiful and spiritual experience of education, service and fellowship for all the children.
